We are often taught that for good health, we should exercise regularly and “Eat breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince and dinner like a pauper.” That’s all well and good, but what about for improving the health of a website? Well here goes, we consistently consumed a Gary Vee video on the way to work, which were highly motivating and nearly left some of our star performers ready to go crush it and conquer the world. During our lunch break we digested a Rand Fishkin blog article, which were very informative. A Neil Patel Marketing School podcast, made the commute home from work that much more enjoyable. After a week the results were astounding. There were more productive ideas coming out of team meetings, we grew more in tune with our customers marketing needs and became more receptive to how we can help them achieve greater results with their sales funnel.

From adding breadcrumbs to create better navigation on a website, to dropping cookies on a website to collect data on visitors for re-targeting, there is no end to improving the user experience. In 2019, using website analytics to gather and study consumer behaviour will become even more imperative to gain an edge. This is why conducting a regular automated Tag Audit on your website is like taking out an insurance policy for your business.

Benefits of Automated Tag Audit:

  • Saves time
  • Improves decision making
  • Produces better ROI for advertising campaigns
  • Conducting regular automated Tag Audits can help remove unwanted tags that slowdown your website and create a high bounce rate. Furthermore, as adding tags is done manually, errors are bound to occur. By installing a good Tag Management System, you can cut down on the errors and remove broken and duplicate tags that compromise the quality of your data.

The New Year always brings about resolutions, which are often broken after a few weeks.
